User Stories greyed out in Kanban backlog

in my Kanban backlog some user stories are suddenly greyed out. Can you tell me why this happens? It looks like this

The greyed out part shows the parent issue of the VB-2434 sub-task.

This happens when the parent issue is not in the same column as the sub-task. So VB-2433 is probably in another column on you board?
