User Permission Issue

Hi,

I invited a new user to my jira, he can self assign ticket, but i cant find his name under the assign dropbox, and he also cant view my name in the assign box also.

In Classic porject or Next-gen project?

In classic software projects, Jira admins can control who can be assigned an issue using permission schemes. In next-gen projects, we’ve simplified our permissions sets. If you grant a role any of the permissions that appear under the Work on project issues set, anyone with that role can be assigned issues in the project.
