Hello.

I am using Jira Service Desk 3.13.0 (Jira Core 7.10.0),

When I try to access my users profile I have an option called "Feed".

mstsc_2018-09-14_17-49-46.png

When I press it I get this:

<feed xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" xmlns:atlassian="http://streams.atlassian.com/syndication/general/1.0"><id>http://hostname:8080/jira/activity?maxResults=10&amp;streams=user+IS+test%5C_h&amp;os_authType=basic&amp;title=undefined</id><link href="http://hostname:8080/jira/activity?maxResults=10&amp;streams=user+IS+test%5C_h&amp;os_authType=basic&amp;title=undefined" rel="self" /><title type="text">undefined</title><atlassian:timezone-offset>+0200</atlassian:timezone-offset><updated>2018-09-14T16:51:09.299Z</updated><author><name>Activity Streams</name></author></feed>

What is this for? How can I use it?

Hello,

Here's two common way you can use the feed :

  • RSS feed that you can read with a feed aggregator.
With this, you'll get a list of the issues or event from that feed in your aggregator.
  • Automations and/or Integrations
For instance, you can use a service like automate.io or zapier (and many others) to trigger actions based on what event shows up in the feed.

Beside the Activity Stream feed, you can also exports your Search Results in the same fashion :

I hope this enlighten you a little more!

Cheers :)
