Hi,

I want to create a form to gather ideas from teams and I want to have a unique request id being available on the form when user tries to submit a request. Is this possible?

Or if I need to use the existing fields in Jira how can I extract those and send this to users for their reference.

Purpose of this is to enable them to modify request which was created using another set of forms without having access to Jira

Not sure if this is possible. any available tutorials? I am just starting to explore and am looking at a basic guide which can help me navigate fundamentals

Regards,

Mahima

Every request or Jira issue comes with unique ID and key. You can generate random values in Jira using this : RANDOM() https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-smart-values-math-expressions/

Confluence is a great place for collaborating and sharing ideas. Nowadays the gimmick is to use Rovo to suggest ideas and help you keep track with all team activity.
