“Do Jira Server and Confluence Server products use React or Next.js in any part of their implementation?”
To my understanding, these Server products are primarily Java-based, and their frontend layers are built using JSP / Velocity / AUI.
However, we need an official confirmation or documentation from Atlassian to verify this.
Our questions are as follows:
Do Jira/Confluence Server products use React?
Do they use Next.js?
Is there any official Atlassian documentation or reference that clearly describes the frontend technology stack?

Your understanding is correct. Jira Server and Confluence Server products are primarily built with:
jQuery and vanilla JavaScript

Create a GUI with templates and AUI
React is not in the native products , but casn be used in apps for the onPremise Products.
