Use licence on fresh install

How do I use my licence on a fresh install. I tried installing on one server, and I attached my licence to the first server. Then after I installed Jira on another server. Some how the evaluation licence is tied to my last install

How can I update the licence to use my original licence?

Hi Projecti,

When doing a new install, it's possible to license Jira with an evaluation license. It's part of the setup wizard, so very easy to use the evaluation without knowing it!

You can retrieve your license from https://my.atlassian.com . We have a full article describing the process of changing your license here, but these are the steps in short:

1. Get your existing Jira license from my.atlassian.com (alternatively you can get this from your first Jira install if you are not listed as a contact for the license in my.atlassian.com - just follow the update steps but copy the license key from the first server)
2. Press the keyboard shortcut g + g (press the g key twice) to bring up Jira's global navigation
3. Start typing "Versions and licenses" - then press Enter when that option is highlighted in the search menu or click on it
   
4. Click the pencil icon on the license you want to update. Paste in the one you copied from my.atlassian.com and hit the Update License button when ready.
