Use current sprint in jira Automation rules

Hi, I would like to write an automation rule that looks at the current sprint for cards that are in a done status and fix version is empty.  I am not sure how to identify the current sprint in the rule automatically.  I dont want to use the current sprint number or name as I want the automation rule to work each sprint with out making any changes. Has anyone done this before and can show me a coding example?

Hi @snwatts6 , welcome to the community.

you can use JQL and the "sprint in opensprints()"

so you condition would be a JQL like below...

sprint in opensprints() and status = done and fixVersion is EMPTY

Thank you so much.  I ran sprint in opensprint()" and this works. I was not aware of the opensprint(). Is this considered a function?   Just curious to learn more what 'functions' are out there and what else I could maybe use.
