Use Epic or Category or Label to color-code issue on Jira Work Management

So I just started using JWM for my team. I've create the Team Managed Project using JWM Project Management Template. But I have a difficulties on color-coding my issues. Previously when I'm using a scrum board in jira software, i can use epic and epic color for each issues, but seems like its not available in JWM?

Is there any way to color-code and nesting the issues (the category is working but it has no color on it)

Hi Michael, 

I am not aware of any way that you can add colors to the board in the out of the box JWM board. There might be an open feature request for that already, though I couldn't find one. You can click the Give feedback link at the bottom left to make that suggestion. 

Another option would be to create a second board like with Jira Software and use it. Here is an article that will walk you through how to do that and the pitfalls.

Previously I link my issues to Epic (epic has its color in Jira Software). But now, I cannot do that since epic has no color on JWM. Same thing with category or label.

So you need to create a second board if you need that functionality that bad.
