Upgrading Jira Instance

Hello There,

I need to upgrade my Jira instance from Jira-5.1.5 to 5.1.6. Help me out in this issue..!!!

Hi Goutham

Upgrading from JIRA 5.1.5 to 5.1.6 is pretty straight-forward. Basically, you can use the rapid upgrade method by downloading the installer version of JIRA and select Upgrade an existing JIRA installation option and the remaining steps should be quite straight-forward.

However, always test the upgrade process in the testing environment first and make sure you backup everything (JIRA installation directory, JIRA Home directory, JIRA database dump).
