Hello everyone,
We are currently using Jira Data Center version 9.12.12.
We are planning to upgrade to version 10.X, and I understand that a Java upgrade is required as part of this process.
Will this affect the scripts we have in ScriptRunner?
What about Jira Automations?
Also, we have a custom plugin developed in-house that is written in Java at its core — is there a chance this plugin might break after the upgrade?
In addition, I’d appreciate a recommendation on which version is considered the most stable and reliable.
I’d be grateful for any advice based on your experience.
Best regards,
Natali

Hi @Natali ,
I performed some upgrades from jira 9.12.X to jira 10.X. Here my recommendations
My suggestion is to try first the upgrade in a dev environment first and tests all customizations.
Hope this helps,
Fabio
