Upgrade jira and integrate with SVN

Adam Al December 22, 2014

Hello

we have JIRA 5.1 and cvs, currently we have a tab in jira that would show all the assets checked-in to cvs for the particular JIRA issue.

We are looking to upgrade the tool and moving to svn.  I am looking to integration svn in to JIRA the same way we had cvs integrated.  So developers can have a tab in JIRA that shows all the assets checked in for the specific JIRA issue.

--what version of JIRA should we upgrade to?

--what plugin is best suited for this ?  I do think we need the fish-eye as it offers way more that what we need

your insight would be appreciated.

Go for the latest version of JIRA

The easiest option is to install the "JIRA Subversion" plugin - that provides a simple "Subversion commits" tab on each issue.  It's basic and read-only, but won't stop you using fish-eye as well.
