Upgrade from JIRA 6.3.6 to 7.0.0 or 7.0.11

We are planning to upgrade our existing JIRA installation from version 6.3.6 to the newest JIRA version.

According to Atlassian we first want to upgrade to version 7.0.

Which version should we take: 7.0.0 or 7.0.11? Or doesn't it matter?

Hi Bernhard,

We simply don't recommend that you skip a major version, so you should go from a 6.* version to 7.* version. Therefore, you're safe to upgrade from 6.3.6 directly to 7.0.11.
