Update internal account email addresses in CWD_Users (via SQL) and it does not show in JIRA App

When I do a select * from cwd_Users they appear updated.  But when I go into the app, they are still the same.  These are Internal Accounts, not AD.

Do I need to recycle something?

Hi Tom Gross,

For making changes in DB, you need to stop jira, update DB and start jira. 

Now as you already done the changes in DB, please restart Jira. Let me know how it goes.
