Is it possible to update Jira ticket when a PR in Github is created?

I would like to include the PR link in the Jira ticket.

We already have a link in the other direction - when a PR is created, we pull the Jira ticket (based on the branch name).

Thanks!

Hi @David Amar and welcome to the Atlassian Community ;)

What exactly would be your requirement? As I assume you already have the GitHub-Jira-Integration. Or what does "pull the Jira ticket" mean?

If a repository is connected via Github-Jira-Integration and git-entities are done with issue key (eg. commits, branch name) they are linked to the Jira issue, shown in the development section of the issue and thus also update issues (at least the development section of the issue).

If deeper changes/updates of issues needed an automation rule could be triggered by several development events and process further steps.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi @Syed Majid Hassan -Exalate-

First of all:
I love exalate and it´s functionality. It´s really great to be able to sync over several tools.

and:

This is mainly the Atlassian Community to investigate into people´s problems within atlassian and try to do suggestions to find a solution for them from where they are right now.

It´s not meant to be used as a pre-sales tool to "just" suggest (hence sell) a/your product.
