We repeatedly check for Sprint overlap, which has a delay time and convincing to multiple people, teams keep churning (new people join, trained people move) and lot of our energy is diverted to get the basic hygiene in place.
- The Sprints must NEVER overlap , there should be at-least 5-minute gap, as Scrum/ SAFe does not permit overlapping Sprints
- When creating a Sprint and selecting 2 week duration, it creates Sprint for exactly 2 weeks taking same time till seconds, unfortunately Jira Align does not sync these kind of Sprints
- Should align to ART cadence + or - 5 days
AUTOMATION
With Enterprise Jira, we can explore a possibility of writing an automation script, which emails/notifies the Scrum Masters and POs, whose Sprints are incorrect
Can you please point me to pointers to this automation or rules we can setup Enterprise wide ?
