Unable to show Custom Field Values for date based field in automation

Hello, 

I created an automation to send an email out with results when a release ticket is created. I get results for all smart values I created except for the custom field created called "Deployment Start" which is a date based field. I have read several posts about custom field smart values but have not been able to get any results to populate in the email output. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Just reference it as {{issue.customfield_34333}} or if you want formattted version, {{issue.customfield_34333.jiraDate}}
