Unable to see the DONE tasks

I am unable to see the DONE tasks. We need to have them at least display for 1 year to review our team's completed assignments and  accomplishments to report to our EMG team.

We normally get asked about this where tasks disappear on a Kanban board when Done tasks were set to Done more than 2 weeks ago. 

There is a way to change this so that Done tasks never disappear from the Kanban board, but then you run the risk of overloading the done column, so first try clicking on Issues in the left navigation bar and you should see all tasks for that project.

You can then use a filter to only show Done tasks and use that for your reporting, e.g. 

project = 'MyProject' AND issuetype in (Task, Story) AND status = Done

Where can't you see done issues, on the board, on searching?

Can you provide more context, and show screenshots on where you expect this information?
