On increasingly frequent basis – users are unable to login to JIRA. It’s a temporary thing, last 30-60m and then automatically fixes itself. But that cycle happens perhaps 1x or 2x daily now.
Our Confluence Wiki piggy backs on JIRA LDAP authentication settings. Recently, Confluence logins are affected by this as well.
What could be a possible cause of this issue?
Jira and Confluence are running on the same server. Will this be a resource issue?
@J Bartleson We had this issue before. They changed the DNS on the LDAP servers and one of the servers was not resolving. When the Jira server would hit the unresolved LDAP server (Bad DNS entry) no one could log in until it tried a different LDAP server on the load balancer. Just had to let the networking team know and they fixed the issue.
