While installing an add-on from the marketplace, I encountered an error message stating, “We ran into a little trouble.”

Hey @Monika Valecha - Optimizory ,

On top of what Arkadiusz said, I've stumbled once or twice on a case where the official Support team had to do some backend fixes 👀

If you've tried out everything and it still throws an error, you might have to reach out to them.
As you're on a free plan, you can reach out to support through here.

Cheers,
Tobi

Hello @Monika Valecha - Optimizory

that “We ran into a little trouble” is a generic Marketplace error. On Jira Cloud Free it’s usually one of these:

You’re not Site admin (Product admin is not enough to install apps).

Jira product access default group is misconfigured (missing / wrongly set).

The app/trial needs billing/payment setup on the site.

Temporary Marketplace glitch (try incognito / retry).

Check Site admin first, then the default access group, then billing/trial requirements.
