We've recently created a Jira to track the different projects we have in our team. Unfortunately, when trying to add the people to different roles we were unable to find one of our coworkers. We've tried by name, email and user ID, but is as if he didn't exist.
Here are couple of my requests for your consideration:
Kindly check if the person you are unable to add has accepted the Jira application access invite.
Has that person got any Jira issue(s) assigned earlier? If not, please try to assign an issue and then retry adding him to Project per your requirement.
Also see if that person has required project access permissions.
