Unable to find JQL function 'commentedByUser(membersOf(jira-administrators))'

Jira JQL showed Unable to find JQL function 'commentedByUser(membersOf(jira-administrators))'. I used group and role in it. Both showed this kind of error. We are using Jira data server 8.5.2

This JQL function requires the app JQL Search Extensions for Jira, see their documentation. Is is this app installed on your Jira?

Hi, Manon, we don't have this app. But we could use JQL. But only the mentioned sentence showed error and others are doing well. We have other plug-ins so I'm not sure which one enables the JQL function.

JQL is a standard Jira feature, you don't need any app to use JQL. You do need apps to provide you with advanced JQL function though, such as "commentedByUser".

You should ask your Jira admin which apps are installed and then read these apps' documentation to find out which JQL functions you can use.
