Hi,

I am unable to create a new sub-task for any kind of artifact like story, bug, or task etc. On creating a subtask, I am getting a warning icon against created subtask which shows a popup saying "We couldn't create the subtask, Check your connection, then give it another try" and has 2 buttons of "Try again" and "Cancel". Nothing happens on trying again. On closing the story and opening again, that created subtask is gone.

Hello @Zakria Dar

Welcome to Atlassian Community! Sorry to see you are not being able to create sub-tasks in your issues.

Please, try the step below so we can better troubleshoot the problem:

1 - Is the problem happening only for a specific issue in your site or is it happening for any issue?

2 - Can you try to reproduce the problem in a different browser? Additionally, provide us with errors returned in the Javascript console of the browser.

3 - If a project has a default assignee but the default assignee does not have the assignable user permission, when creating a subtask through the new issue view, users would be prompted a generic error message you are seeing:

That being said, xan you check if the default assignee under project settings > Details have the "assignable user permission"?

4 - Check if you are able to avoid the issue when using a different network. If that's the case, I recommend you to check with your infra team if the Cloud IP Addresses and Domains are properly whitelisted in your firewall and proxy:

Let me know if this information helps.
