Unable to create sub-task for issue

I am using the version  7.12.0 of Jira. I went ahead and created a new business

project, and added the issue types, and also the sub-task.  I'm still unable to see where there is an option to add a sub-task to my  parent issue , I would expect it to be in the "more" menu of the parent issue but it's not

Can you check if you don't have required fied in the subtask issuetype like Description or other.
