Two-dimensional Filter statistics and Pie Chart show different 'Status' values. Why?

I am using the same saved Filter for both the two-dimensional filter statistic and the Pie Chart gadgets.  Why does the 2D filter statistic only show a few status values while the Pie Chart shows all status values?

In addition, if I click on the 2D filter total for Dev Complete (9) to review the specific issues, it only shows 3 issues which are truly in in Dev Complete status (as shown in Pie Chart.)

It appears that the 2D filter of Dev Complete is grouping several status into it but I do not know why.  I would like to see all the status on the 2D filter. 

The configuration for the @2D filter is a follows:

XAxis - Issue Type

YAxis - Status

Sort by - Natural

Sort Direction - Ascending

Number of Results - 50

Yes, the issue is similar to mine but not seeing a resolution yet.  The issue seems to be with the @2D filter status gadget only.
