Turning an epic into a ticket

I made a mistake when I was moving an epic from one board to another one and turned the whole epic into one single ticket. Because of this move I now lost all the tickets that fell under the epic and I can see them anymore.

Is there a way to revert the action and move the epic back to the previous board to have access to all the tickets I lost?

No, there's no way to get back the epic link data that you deleted, not without restoring from a backup.

It's important to understand something here - you did not "move an issue from one board to another".  You moved the Epic to another issue type (possibly in another project), one that does not have the Epic fields or functionality.

Boards are a view of a selection of issues, they do not contain issues.  You've lost the epic link data because you changed the issue type, not the board.

You can change the issue type back to Epic, which will restore most of the data, but it won't retain the Epic link data (the issues the epic contained)
