Turn off ai comment summary

I previously turned off the ai comment summary in jira with the link that was visible in the summary itself.

Atlassian seems to have turned it on again without asking, and now the option to turn it off is missing. 

We would like not to have such feature forced on us, we would like a solution to turn this off.

Have you turned off the AI off completely from your site? This will turn off all of the AI options in there. Atlassian doesn't turn on the features back just like that, because that would be against their policy.

We haven't turned it off site wide, because previously individual users could turn off this specific feature for themselves see https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-questions/How-can-I-disable-automatic-AI-summary-of-work-items/qaq-p/3071701.

They have indeed turned this back on just like that and removed the previous option to turn it off as many of our own users and users of other orgs have noted, again see the linked community ticket.

You are right, I wasn't aware of this, and why this works in this kind of way. Have you talked to Atlassian support regarding this issue?
