I am trying to create a new issue and am receiving this error:

"Change Managers: Pick another user as the selected user doesn’t exist."
I am creating a Service Request via an ITSM project. I am the reporter and my account exists.

Hi @Casey Whitehead

It could be what @Walter Buggenhout describes. However the problem could be internally, within the request type, as a hidden field with a predefault value could exist. If you go to project settings > request types and located this request type and click on it, on the available to the customer fields, you might see a hidden field. That hidden field, as I stated previously, will have a predefault value. Worth checking it out.

Hi @Casey Whitehead ,

It looks like there is a problem with an approver for your request. An automated function is trying to select a user that is not / no longer an active user. Have a look at the approval settings for the issue type you are creating or a postfunction of the workflow of that same issue type that tries to automatically set the approver.

Thanks, I will try this out. I've been creating tickets this way for over a year and no configuration has changed but we have had users disabled. This issue type doesn't require a change manager to review but I will check it out.
