Trying to access this space

I am taking over responsibilities over someone who left, and they directed me to a site 

Upon attempting to access it, I am told it is restricted so I am reaching out to figure out how to get access to this space.

Just to clarify, are you planning to specifically check with Eric's site admin, or do you suggest that he does?

If either the team is unable to provide you the necessary access after the guy, then a site admin should be able to give you those permissions and make sure your team knows how to do that later yourselves. Each Space should have their own Space admins who are able to manage those permissions on user level.

I reached out to the person who was in charge of the space and he said he changed the permission, but it was still restricted even after the changes. He told me to reach out to our IT team but they directed me back to the person that left.

In that case, is there a place I can find my site admin or someone who would know more?
