I want to create a simple Created vs Resolved chart with cumulative values over a time period like the gadget native to JIRA. I see the JIRA Charts gadget and still cannot reproduce the chart below.
I've only been able to do this
Am I missing something?
Hi @Yvette Nash,
Why is the native Jira gadget not sufficient for your needs? Is there specific functionality that it’s missing?
If you are open to try other plugins, you may also want to take a look at our Great Gadgets app, which I believe offers everything you’re looking for. It includes a set of powerful, highly configurable gadgets designed to fully meet your requirements, such as:
Release Burndown / Burnup Chart gadget – Can be configured as a Created vs. Resolved chart and offers a high level of customization.

Cumulative Flow Diagram gadget – Displays created versus resolved work items over time using a stacked area chart, providing clear insight into workflow trends.
These gadgets give you more flexibility and visibility than the native Jira options.

Hi @Yvette Nash
Dashboard hub is a 3rd party marketplace app that provides extension of dashboard functionality.
This doesn't mean they have the same gadgets or improved gadgets based on what Jira offeres.
It also doesn't mean that their gadgets incorporate functionality from ootb Jira gadgets.
Best is to check an apps documentation on what they offer and see if this fits your needs, then try the app.
The chart you are using doesn't have this function, the the Jira ootb gadget has.

I find it odd that Dashboard Hub's gadgets are available on JIRA's ootb dashboards, but the reverse is not the case.

Hi Yvette,
Can you give us a little more information? How did you get to where you are (steps)?

Hello John,
Installed a trial version of Dashboard Hub and am simply evaluating it. My first step was to see if I could recreate a dashboard I already have in JIRA using this app. The second image above shows Dashboard Hub's version of a Created vs Resolved gadget. That's as far as I got. I could not figure out how to recreate the first image I posted using any of Dashboard Hub's gadgets. I love the layout functionality of Dashboard Hub which is what brought me to the app and hence the evaluation of the product.

Thank you for the explanation. The best answer I can give you is to contact the vendor directly to get assistance from them.
