Hey there,

we try to evaluate XRAY for JIRA Server (7.3.5).

The first installation was started from the UPM. We start a test project with sample data from Jira. After installing XRAY and assigning to the project, I wasn't able to create a TEST. I always get the message "testtype does not exist"

Serval tries later, i decided to reinstall again, because there was no testtype "manual. automatic or generic" installed. Installation from the ZIP-File produces the same effect.

After creating an option "manuell" and "automatisch" on the user defined field testtype, XRAY regonized this testtype in a report as "other" type.

Defined option for "testtype":

XRAY-Report:

Testtype_other.JPG

The defined testtype from XRAY are not available in my installation. Something went wrong in my insatalltion. Do you have any idea, which solves my problem ?

regards

Uli

Default Test Type value options are;

  • Manual
  • Cucumber
  • Generic

Try to add missing values, they can also be case sensitive.

But as a first installation they should be present on Xray Default Test Screen and Test Type

Hey Mesut,

case sensitive , that's the reason. I added the missing values in a case sensitive form.

now it works as designed.

thx for your comment.

best Regards

Uli
