Trusted access users are disabled from confluence/jira account access

So users who have been given "trusted" role types have been complaining that their accounts have been revoked...

If I set their user type to basic access - they have access to Jira and Confluence

But if I give them Trusted role type; it removes the access to Jira/Confluence.

How do I have trusted users who can access products?

The Trusted access doesn't remove any product access. The two grey tick boxes you see show that the user does have access to both the products by default (under Trusted permission).

What do the users get when they log into https://id.atlassian.com ? Are they using Google login or a local Atlassian account? Sometimes, users confuse themselves between the both.
