Troubleshooting a velocity chart error

Steven Kahrs
June 23, 2015

Whenever we attempt to display the velocity chart for one of our scrum boards we get the following error:

ERROR:  No issues present in sprint to generate scope change model

We know we have tickets in the sprint and all the other reports work just fine for that board.

We have no idea why we are getting this error.

Any ideas out there?

See links. One of them gives this explanation: "This bug occurs when in a Sprint, a sub-task is included without the parents taskhttps://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-7242

and "We had orphaned sub-tasks. A story was moved to a different team and the sub-tasks were still assigned to the first teamhttps://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-9036

See if you have orphans without parent issue in the same sprint.
