Transitions on Smart Commits from Github doesn't work

trying to transit ticket from open/in-progress status to 'QA' by committing my repository on Github with the following message:

OA-4070 #QA extra fix details

although it used to work before, suddenly it stopped working.

I can see all the commits on the ticket. but the transition just doesn't work.

I have the linked account set up, I can see the repository on the list and the settings are correct.

"enabling smart commits to all repositories"

is checked.

Again, commits are there, only transitions not working.

Any idea why the transition command is not working anymore?
