Hello there,
We have a ticket type in jira which has some custom fields. I want to automatically create a new confluence page from a global template when moving the ticket to another state in the workflow using global automation.
Is it possible to transfer the values from these custom fields of the ticket to the confluence page? Especially to a specific cell of a table which is in a page properties macro?
Thanks a lot for your help and advice!
Iam already at the point, where I can create the page on a trigger. So that is already successfully happening.
But on the confluence page tempalte there is page properties macro in which there is a table with 2 columns and four lines. And now I want to atomatically fill in the cells in column two with values from custom field from the jira task.
e.g.
jira field "Type" --> cell (0,1)
jira field "Class" --> cell(1,1)
jira field "Product" --> cell(2,1)
jira field "" --> cell(3,1)
I already tried using variables and placeholders but that doesn't work.
Hi @Philipp Zeitvogel and welcome,
you caould try to put in place an automation for this purpose. Please take a look to the following video with an example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTE29PRuGxA
Hope this helps,
Fabio
