On Jira issue search screen I want to add the column called: Status. In the add columns dialog I filter on the word Status. It shows many columns with the word Status in it. The column I am looking for is not listed, because the list only goes to the letter P and then says: "29 more options. Continue typing to refine further." Screenshot 2023-12-20 104533 - jira too many columns called status.png

That is the problem. The column is called: Status. That is the full name. I cannot refine any further.

What do i do now? How can I select this column to add to my search results?

Hi @M de Loos , you might find the following of interest- JRASERVER-59412 . It indicates that it was fixed in 8.20.24  but unclear of the details on the solution. Moreover, you are on 8.22.6 so should have the fix. You might explore the workarounds presented.

Two other options...

  • reset to default and you will have Status then add back others
  • start clicking the presented "xxx Status" selections which shortens the list, ultimately getting to the Status column. Then you can remove the unwanted columns.
