I have used the work management business project template and wanted to view the timeline where I could see the epics at a top level with an arrow to expand like in a the example here:
However all I get is a list of all the tasks and epics with no way to link them or roll up tasks into an epic.
How do I get my timeline to look like in the example?
Hello @Andrew Sinclair
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
The example you referenced does not actually show Epics with Stories nested under them
It is showing standard level issues with Subtasks nested under them.
JWM Timelines currently cannot display stories nested under expandable Epics. There is a change request for that to which you can add your vote.
Thank you, I did stumble on that issue after posting this which does explain the problem nicely. Hopefully the feature is release soon

Will this be addressed by the new "Unified" Jira experience that is coming? Seems silly that a business project will let you build parent/child relationships in your projects but cannot visualize for easy management on lists and timelines.
