I have a kanban board. I have already added Stories to board view and I want to see the same Stories on timeline view because in board view I have added start and end dates.
But its saying me to add epics there. Don't understand what that is. How can I have my Stories in the Kanban board view show up in my timeline?
Hi Rena - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing?
Thanks John.

Hello @[deleted]
By default in Jira, you only have epics showing since they are the highest in the issue hierarchy. You can manage your issue hierarchy when you go to settings, then Issues, Issue hierarchy. In here, you can add Story to your hierarchy and save the changes in order for it to show on the timeline.

@Nikola Perisic , thank you so much for your response. The Epics aren't even showing in that view. It is asking me to me to create a new Epic with the + sign. I thought it would pull in my existing Epics into the timeline view.
