Timeline - how to ad a column

Hi. I need to add an additional (existing) field into the timeline view. Is that possible?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

The Timeline view in Jira Work Management projects do not currently support adding more fields to the display.

I simply don't understand how it CAN'T support fields, or at the very least a simple hierachy.

Reasons to go to Monday/Asana/etc. I guess

Visor makes it pretty easy to add Jira fields (custom or otherwise) to Gantt charts. It's also free to use (up to 250 records).
