Time limit on platform experiences early access program? Is it going to be a paid feature?

I heard that we may only have "14 days before getting charged", but that's not what I understand based on information in https://support.atlassian.com/platform-experiences/docs/participating-in-the-platform-experiences-early-access-program/. Can anyone confirm if there is a time limit to early access? And if there will be a point that a new feature will be "charged"?
