Hi. We're moving from a sprint approach to kanban. We'll need to close the last sprint, and there's an option to move any incomplete tickets to the backlog. Will this include any that are already in progress? If so, is there a way these can be set to a different status.

The sprint is an irrelevance to Kanban, the Kanban board won't pay any attention to it and will just show you everything according to their status.

You can use bulk-edit to move masses of issues through the workflow if you need to.

I think I get what you're saying Nic. The sprint backlog and kanban backlog are different views of the same thing. Correct?

If so, completing the last sprint and moving unfinished tickets to the backlog doesn't affect the Kanban board. If a ticket was "In Progress" in the sprint, it will still be "In Progress" in the Kanban board.

If I'm way off, please put me right. I won't be offended :-)
