Did you mean:

The remaining issues issue

Ignacio Ampuero June 24, 2025

Today, I was changing a Task to a Sub-Task and I found this:
A remaining Issue mention! (I know the transition is WIP) but where else have you found Issue mentions or Task/Work Item inconsistencies across Jira?
Just a little shoutout to Atlassian team

And by the way, how did you incorporate this change into your work planning?

Hi @Ignacio Ampuero

Thanks for sharing your input, I believe Jira is still rolling out the change for some of the instance to highlight work item instead of issue. hope fully it will be rolled out soon.

Honestly? It's everywhere.

  • Issue Types
    • Issue Type Schemes
  • Issue Links
  • Issue Security
    • Issue Security Schemes
  • Software Project > Issues tab
  • Basic Search: "Search issues"
    • Standard Issue Types
    • Sub-Task Issue Types
  • Filters > Search Issues

Almost none of our teams use the 'Issue' terminology, so changing to the 'Work Item' terminology isn't a big change for us. Jira is a ticketing system used to track tickets.
