The original time estimation of the parent story doesn't sum up for the total time of sub tasks

The original time estimation of the parent story doesn't sum up for the total time estimations of sub tasks. How to activate this?

example:

Story - A

Sub task - a1 - Original time estimation: 2h

Sub task - a2 - Original time estimation: 1h

After manually entering these time estimations in the sub tasks, why doesn't it get automatically added to the Original time estimation of Story A as 3h? How can I get this done?

Hi Harshi,

there should be a checkbox in the parent task right beneath the time tracking which states something like "Include sub-tasks".

You need to check the box, then the sub-tasks time will be added to the parents time tracking.
