The new feature "Deployment" is not appearing under my project settings for next-gen template?

I received an email introducing the new "Development" feature that can be enabled in the next-gen template under project settings, however I do not see it.

Hi Alexandra,

Thanks for your interest in the Deployments feature. This is a new feature, and right now we only allow it to be enabled on projects for which Jira has already received deployment data. There are some instructions on how to do this here and here. Once Jira has received some deployments for the project the Deployments feature should enable automatically (you can always disable it if you don't like it). 

Obviously our documentation needs to be updated to explain this, I'll have this rectified.
