I'd like to note that you probably want to use Issue (which is an interface, if I remember correctly), not IssueImpl (an implementation).

Programming against interfaces is a best practice.

You should be able to see it once jira-core dependency is enabled. I see that the dependency is enabled but did you rebuild the project and refreshed your IDE?

I did atlas-run but it always fails with the issueImpl import not resolved...refreshing the IDE didnt help either

Can you try an atlas-clean first?
