Hi all
Recently, when I used jira, I found that it took too long to receive emails. For example, I created an issue at 12:00, but I may receive an email notification at 6:00 telling me that I created an issue. I would like to know how to troubleshoot this problem
My Jira version is 8.13.3
The email address I use is office 365
Hi @arno
Usually email batching notification may take up to 1 hour but not 6 hours:
I would check your SMTP server as well as the jira logs and possibly the jira time.
I'm going to set this for every 10 minutes

I find that there are a lot of email queues in my jira system. Will it affect the time of receiving emails? How can I solve this problem

thank you for your reply
I want to confirm whether the server here refers to the Jira server or the SMTP server

I don't quite understand the solution of this article(https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/jira-notifications-piling-up-in-the-mail-queue-due-to-jira-server-hostname-dns-resolution-issue-1031835684.html). Could you tell me what I should do
I have tested the SMTP server and port, and everything is normal. I adjusted Timeout (ms) to 60000 and set Schedule to the default value, but found that it could not fundamentally solve my problem
