I found two ways how to integrate Jira Server Project with Slack to get an update notifications in dedicated Slack channel.
Who knows what is the difference between them?
It's seems like they work the same way, but setup is different:
You can integrate Jira Project (or JQL) with Slack from block "Slack" in any jira issue: and it's redirects you to: Administration - Applications -Slack Integration where you can set a new subscription
You can integrate any Jira Project (or JQL) with Slack in: Administration - System -Webhooks where you also can create a new subscription
