The action related to automatic movement of issues during sprint closure is not captured in history

On closing a sprint  in Jira, it popped up a message saying xx issues are complete and yy is incomplete and do I wish to move the open ones to backlog. I confirmed it. Upon which I get a sprint report of what is completed and what is not.   

The incomplete issue , which in this case, yy is  moved to the backlog by the tool automatically.

My concern here is , this movement is not captured in the history of the issue.
Why so ?

Full disclosure that I am using Cloud, not Server, so I cannot try to recreate this symptom.

I do not see anything in the documentation or public backlog for this, so you may want to ask your site admin to submit a ticket to support to see what they say: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
