The Version Report dates are skewed, can this be fixed?

The version report my team is using only tracks features. We have "sub-releases" that make up our major release. Within the first sub-release the team didn't push the features through the workflow correctly. So the cycle time on some issues was less than a minute. Which completely skewed our dates. Is there anyway to fix this issue besides teaching the team how to move forward correctly?
