The URL link is not copied as a link but as text

Good morning,

I have come across an issue in Jira when a co-worker, copy pastes a url (ctrl+c; ctrl+v), it gets pasted as a text and not as a url. Because of that colleagues who are receiving the comments, cannot click on the link to access that url and have got to literally highlight the url and copy and paste it manually in the browser to access that link. I've checked previous forums and discussions, it seems like an ongoing issue unfortunately. Is there an update regarding this please?

One of the changes that has been "rolling out" for a few weeks is:

Perhaps there is an issue with that feature.  You appear to be the site admin for a paid Jira license, so consider pinging the support team to ask them to take a look: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
