Tempo Account field issue in Jira

Rahul
January 4, 2024

Hi All,

On edit's screen if we update any field's value or without, just click update then In History, Account field appears as "None". In that case, It should not come anything for Account.
If we change the account value it's coming correct but In case if we select none it should not come none, it should come blank only as other fields.

I have checked tempo account, field configuration etc. all are looking good.

What is the cause for this problem? Any suggestion ?

Thanks!

Hi @Rahul,

I believe that's because of the default value for the Account field.

If you go to Administration > Issues > Custom fields and click ... > View for the Account field, you'll see that the default value is set to None.

The Account field is locked and that's why its default value cannot be cleared. Looks like it was done on purpose. I would recommend you to contact the Tempo support directly regarding this issue.
